We use top of the line Endurant brand colorant. 

Absolutely! Endurant brand colorants are water based and are non-toxic, eco friendly, and 100% organic! 

The Endurant colorant will last approximately 3 months. 

No. If properly watered the grass will stay as healthy as usual...only much nicer and greener. Some people choose to reduce watering by up to 50% in order to keep the grass alive but also save money. 

In a nutshell no. Our paint dries in 60-90 minutes. However, we recommend waiting 24 hours before touching or watering the grass. Paint will typically not come off on shoes unless intense activity is done. Normal untreated grass will produce grass stains on clothing and white shoes. The colorant will be act as regular grass does. It won't cause more staining but its also won't create any barrier preventing or diminishing normal grass stains from occurring. 

We do offer an enhanced product additive that can create a more solid bind in cases where the grass will be high traffic or used for sports. The additive is used on golf courses and sports fields. Typical front lawns won't need this additive. However, back yards where children will be at constant play would definitely benefit from the additive. 

It is perfectly ok to cut painted grass. Typically, the lawns are drought stricken, dormant, or not growing so don't require much cutting. If the lawn is being watered at a minimum, just to be kept alive, mowing won't be needed frequently but is perfectly ok. 

Our services are offered at 15 cents per square foot with a $100 minimum. In some instances we do charge a surcharge if grass is long because more colorant is needed.

Most of the lawns we've done in our photo sections ranged from 700 square feet ($105) to 1300 square feet ($195). 

In most cases we can give a free estimate using Google Earth and other similar applications. But if that's not possible we can measure the lawn in person using a measuring wheel for a $20 fee. This fee covers the cost of gasoline and time. If you do decide to book service, the $20 will be applied to your service cost and is good for up to 3 months.

The best time to color grass is after it's been mowed. Typically the paint binds better and looks better on grass shorter than 1 inch in length. 

According to multiple peer reviewed studies Endurant Colorants do not adversely affect the process of photosynthesis. Effects on photosynthesis in lab studies were negligible and effects on photosynthesis in field studies were even less. 

Yes! Endurant colorants were originally are made to stand up to normal wear and tear. But we also have an optional additive that is used on golf courses and sports fields that will significantly increase the bind and staying power. This is a good option for back yards where children will be at constant play. 

Endurant colorant can be applied to most lengths of grass. However, for optimal application and look we recommend keeping grass under 1 inch in length. Longer grass can incur a surcharge due to higher paint consumption.
